Michelia doltsopa--Sweet Michaelia
The beautiful white flowers on this tree are supposed be very fragrant, but it was trimmed in such a way that I had no chance to smell them. Sweet Michaelia is in the Magnolia family, and can become almost 100' tall. I have never seen one that big. It can be used as a hedge or street tree, but it doesn't like wind. From Asia and hardy to 30 degrees F.
