Philadelphus lewisii--wild mock orange

In bloom now at the UC Botanical Garden: Philadelphus. I has lots of bright white flowers. Very fragrant and very pretty. Makes me think of weddings.

The flowers of wild mock orange attract butterflies and moths. A friend of mine goes out after dark with a red cellophane over the lens of his flashlight to look for moths coming to flowers in the garden.
