Mylitta Crescent?
So it was a cold evening at the UC Botanical Garden yesterday. I was hoping to find bees at the Soap Plant, but no such luck. But I did find this butterfly, apparently bedded down for the night on a buckwheat flower. Maybe a Mylitta Crescent. I couldn't get it to open it wings long enough to get a picture of the upper side, but I did see it long enough that I figured out that it was orangy. Too small for a lady. If you have any ideas, let me know.
