Brachyotum ledifolium
This plant has odd-looking green flowers with red scallops that look like they belong on a jester. Do they leaves look familiar? They are similar to the leaves on Tibouchina (Purple Princess Flower) which isn't surprising, because they are in the same family, Melastomataceae. In bloom now at the UC Botanical Garden.
